The Penn State Alumni Association

What’s been happening:

When I think of "Penn State" and what it means to me, I remember the quaint, secluded, and beautiful campus of Penn State Mont Alto. This is where my memories lie. Some of the most vivid include being on the cross country team, traveling to the Shakespeare Theatre in Washington DC with the English Club, reading and singing at Open Mic Nights in Weistling Hall, participating in the Academic Fair, working at Cafe Java, meeting my fiance, and loving every moment of philosophy and English classes. The quality of the English Program was phenomenal, with caring and knowledgeable professors who took the time to develop relationships with every student. The environment at this campus is very conducive to learning, for the student of life, the student who loves to learn. Many times were spent among wonderful company, engaging in conversation in the office of John the philosopher, enthusiastically participating in classroom discussions, lounging with my sweetheart on the quad, and immersing myself in the gorgeous, natural surroundings of the former Forest Academy. The holistic experience was more than I could have ever hoped for when I began college in 2004.
